We have named this years anniversary quilt “SWEET KISSES”. No matter, if its a quick lick on the cheek, or a nose rub, or a slobbery french kiss, its all about the undeniable love our pets have for us humans. How empty our lives would be without them.
We are dedicating our quilt to the furry friends we have lost this year …. Rainier, Maddison, Cubby, Squirt, Elijah, Jiggs, Annie, Dudley & Diesel. Forever loved and forever missed.
Our quilt includes the fabrics and names from our personalized blanket orders between May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019. This gives us time to design, create, and have it professionally quilted in time for the reveal on September 12th. We will once again raffle it off on our anniversary October 11th, the anniversary of Maggie’s crossing over the rainbow bridge, with all proceeds going to the Maggie May Fund.
We have 32 names on 25 blankets, and this year they include: Buster, Jedi, Fender, Peppi, Sparky & Rose, Taco, Rainier, Seeker, Hyper, Whiski, Cubby, Fysti, Fender, Phoenix & Dakota & Solo & Levi, Jasper & Willy & Flurry, Cali, Perka, Momma Bee, Sloan, Terry, Penny, Jackie, Dallas, Jiggs & Annie, & Deacon
Our amazing friend Tammy of Sugar Town Quilting Co, in Cranbrook who once again donated her time and cost to professionally quilt our creations. We were also late again getting the quilt to Tammy but she did it right away for us and we got it back just in time for us to finish by reveal. Tammy has quilted all our anniversary quilts, and it’s her beautiful work that makes our quilt that much more special.
