Meea has gone through quite the ordeal over the past few weeks. In early May she had her first surgery of two to remove tumors from her ears and to do a total ear canal ablation. The first surgery went well until she had to be rushed back to hospital with a ruptured eye, fortunately with medication and treatment, the eye did not have to be removed, and the ulcer had since disappeared. All the test results came back OK from the first surgery. The second surgery went well with no complications other than the issues with her eyes again, but it’s being watched carefully. Meea is eating, more alert and not so wobbly this time. She will be going home tonight, and a quick recovery is expected. The family extends their gratitude to every one that donated to Meea’s care.
